Accessibility

Current status

This website is largely accessible. The measures listed below are in place; we keep working on the known limitations.

Measures in place

• A “Skip to main content” link on every page and a clearly marked main content area.
• Full keyboard operability with a clearly visible focus indicator.
• Support for the “reduce motion” system setting — animations are switched off.
• WCAG AA contrast ratios, text zoomable up to 200%.
• Meaningful alternative text for images and labelled controls.
• Forms with linked labels, inline error messages and screen-reader announcements.
• Chat window and dialogs close with Escape and keep keyboard focus inside.
• Touch targets of at least 44 × 44 pixels on mobile.
• Content in German, English and Spanish with correct language markup.

Known limitations

• Embedded third-party content (e.g. maps, social previews) may have a different level of accessibility.
• Some PDF documents are not yet fully tagged for accessibility. On request we provide the content in an accessible format.
• Captions and audio description for event videos are being added step by step.
